Mennonite Furniture Lasts a Lifetime!
Fine Oak Things has specialized in solid wood Mennonite furniture since we opened our doors in 1989. We believe in providing beautiful furniture that you’ll never need to replace. Whether rustic or contemporary, your furniture will tell a story. With solid wood furniture, that story is about how your new dining table was made by hand using old world techniques to become a work of art! Don’t hide your table under a cloth – the precision and beauty of the wood will make your proud to show it off.
While beauty will draw you to solid wood furniture, it’s the craftsmanship that will give you piece of mind. No more regrets about a rickety bed that creaks or dresser drawers that don’t slide properly. Our pieces are expertly crafted from solid wood and will last a lifetime, we guarantee it.

At Fine Oak Things, we believe that our furniture should be crafted to fit your home. Let us know what you need, and we’ll help you find the ideal solution. Remember, custom does not mean more expensive, it means you get the perfect piece for your home. Fine Oak Things can take a design, measurements and requirements and match one of your existing pieces. Take the example below, where we were asked to create a pantry to go with an existing sideboard. Though she chose a darker stain, we created create a matching piece to provide storage for her pots and pans in the bottom and canned goods up top while sized to fit her kitchen.

Our furniture can also be refinished in different colours should your style change or repurposed. Since we use local Mennonite furniture craftsmen, we limit the carbon footprint from shipping.
