Rich with history in logging and mining, the region was at the forefront of industrial growth in the mid-ninteenth century, and landscapes were inspirational to the Group of Seven.
Angular tops and legs combine with industrial bolts to create the perfect balance of character and design. Each piece is beautifully crafted from your choice of solid wood and in a wide selection of stain colours. The rustic nature of the Algoma Collection lends itself to be made in wormy maple. Natural imperfections in the wood are highlighted by the rugged design and the industrial handles.

Be sure to check out the three different texture options on the wormy maple: Brushwork, Heritage and Sawmill. The Brushwork texture scores the wood gently with wire brushes to create a smooth look with more character. Heritage is a texture where the wood is randomly handplaned in the direction of the grain to reate a more rugged appearance. Finally, the Sawmill texture leaves the sawmarks in the wood that came from the sawmill with limited sanding and planing creating a truly one-of-a-kind look.
